In the noir dramedy
Don McKay — showing at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 24 — a janitor (Thomas Haden Church) returns to his hometown after discovering his former flame (Elisabeth Shue) is dying. Church, who also executive produced, promises the final 15 minutes will feature a twist. ''I don't want to give anything away,'' he says, ''[but] there's a lot more going on between the sheets than one might traditionally presume.''
