Trick r' Treat finally heading our way

Michael Dougherty's horror movie Trick 'r Treat will finally be getting shown on the big screen. Warner Brothers delayed its release for almost two years. I'm not sure why as everyone who has seen it has said it is one of the best horror movies of all time.

It's scheduled to hit DVD sometime in October in time for Halloween, but before that, Dougherty has arranged a nationwide road show for the film, which will be kicking off sometime this July and running through October.

The cities confirmed so far are: Montreal, Canada for the Fantasia Film Festival; Toronto, Canada for the Toronto After Dark Film Festival; Mexico for the Morbido Festival; Austin, Texas for Fantastic Fest; San Francisco, California; and London, England.

First Showing had the news and they also have a great review of the film. I can't wait to see it.
