Ghostbusters - Did you know it was actually a film in 1954 starring Bob Hope?
An excellent trailer mash-up. You have to watch it.
What if...Ghostbusters, the movie, was shot in 1954 instead of 1984? Who should be part of the cast? Would they have the same equipment? Who would they battle? Considering Dan Aykroyd's concept owes a lot to Bob Hope, Abbott and Costello, and Lewis and Martin comedies of the 40s and 50s, it is not that big of a stretch to speculate.
Here's the recipe for the trailer:
Ghostbusters, The Three Stooges, Scared Stiff, Ghost Breakers, Topper Takes a Trip, The Ghost Busters, Abbott and Costello meet the Invisible Man, Star Trek, Ghosts on the Loose, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Spooks Run Wild, Flubber, Son of Flubber, The Caddy, 100 ans d'histoires de Bibendum

Iron Man 2 footage from Comic Con
Well almost. Some people who saw it did a "sweded" version of it. Excellent stuff.

Green Lantern in Iron Man 2?
Well not really, but Jon Favreau did tweet that Scarlett Johanson's husband, Ryan Reynolds, visited the set. Who, as we now know, is playing Green Lantern. Here is a video from the Iron Man 2 set at Sepulveda Dam in Los Angeles. It shows a great big green screen and not much else.

Those pesky Transformers get everywhere
In the past couple of weeks, there's been a surge in sightings of mysterious robots in cities and famous landmarks around the world, including Tokyo, Berlin, Rome, and Barcelona. People from across the globe have been posting videos and photos of these sightings on sites. Check out the Tokyo sighting:
Barcelona sighting:
A number of more subtle sightings have been spotted in Sydney (above), Perth and even Machu Pichu (zoom into the right of the smaller peak in the middle) .
The most recent sightings have been in France and the UK. In France two model-airplane-enthusiasts watched their airplane crash land, and transform into a robot.
In the UK, there was a similar incident involving a scooter turning into a robot-type creature.
These robot sightings have so far been tracked by two conspiracy blogs run by Robo-Warrier and Leo Ponce de Leon Spitz.
I think this is a cracking viral campaign for the new Transformers film. Have you spotted any more?
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is out in the UK tomorrow and in the USA on the 24th.

Happy Birthday Johnny Depp
A cool video of Depp celebrating his 46th birthday during the filming of The Rum Diary. Benjamin Velez shot it and said:
I filmed Johnny Depp´s surprise party from my house balcony, at Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, as he became my new front neighbor during more than 8 days, while his new movie "The Rum Diary" was being produced.
Depp's birthday presents...the red car used in the film and a guitar sitting in the front seat. From 9 pm to 4am the cast and crew celebrated his birthday at the Parrot Club. Cepp brought his own bottle of wine.
Happy Birthday Mr Depp. I would have loved to have been there. Thanks to Pam for sending me the link.

Megan Fox is hot because of CGI

The entire CGI budget of the film goes to digitally mastering Megan Fox's hotness. This is funny.
