The Dark Knight - The Sound of Anarchy - Making the music for The Joker

This is one of the extras from The Dark Knight DVD and it's a good one. Composer Hans Zimmer and director Chris Nolan talk about how they came up with the "Razor blades on violins" theme for Heath Ledger's Joker.

no joke this is my favorite part of the entire DVD. love the sound design of TDK. it once again proves that zimmer is a true master in his craft. also the celloist, , martin tobin, he calls him. I strongly believe he is in fact the very well known sound artist Amon Tobin. if u liked the score for the dark knight you will love his other work, he's so great.

Cheers Pat, I may well look up some of his other stuff. I do like those kind of extras on a DVD. Really shows you the amount of work that goes into every aspect of making a film.
