Kick-Ass to have animated sequence directed by John Romita Jr

Comicsando have the news that Romita will get his directorial debut by directing an animated flashback sequence in the live action Kick-Ass film. This is cool as John Romita Jr is the artist who brought Kick-Ass to life in Mark Millar's comic.

Apparantly the sequence will show the origin of Big Daddy (Nicholas Cage) and his daughter, Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz). That's them on the left.

How do you like them apples?
