A Bunch of Amateurs - Trailer for New Burt Reynolds comedy

Filmstalker mentioned this one so thought I would share. Here is the trailer for the new Burt Reynolds, comedy, A Bunch of Amateurs. It is about an ageing action hero who is way past his action hero roles days, and when he gets the offer to play King Lear in England he thinks this is his ticket back to the big time.

However when he gets there he finds that the theatre is a small, run down place in a country village, run by an amateur theatre group desperate to save their hallowed building. They've banded together and hired the only talent they could afford, hoping that the press will come and the news coverage will save their theatre. However they first have to keep the talent, and then get the production off the ground.

As well as Burt Reynolds the film also stars Imelda Staunton, Derek Jacobi, Charles Durning and Samantha Bond.

The film is written by a group of television writers one of whom is Ian Hislop (Private Eye, Have I got News for You).

Burt is still cool in my book and it does look amusing. What do you make of it?
