"I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing."
A Moscow charity concert turns bloody when armed extortionists take the head liner American pop-star Venus and the Russian President with his family hostage. Help is on the way when the drummer of a heavy metal warm-up band, an ex-bad ass biker played by Lundgren, and a young Russian F.S.B. agent team up to fight back. But our two heroes are seriously outnumbered and things aren't as simple as they appear when old ghosts from the Soviet Union appear to haunt the present in this fast paced action piece.
Could be the last chance to see Dolph in a low budget direct to DVD film before he hits the big time again in The Expendables.
WARNING: Live for Films does not condone playing a hand gun like a harmonica. It can cause serious facial pain and death to those around. Steven Seagal is a trained Gun Harmonica player.
Not content in just seeing off a load of vampires in Against the Dark Steven Seagal has turned his attention to a load of mobsters in Bucharest. Pity the mobsters as action hero Steven Seagal takes them down using a mixture of standing still and waving his arms, cutting away quickly and adding shots of a guy dressed as him doing the actual fighting. That is the unique martial art style of the mighty Steven Seagal..hardest working actor in Hollywood, Asia and Eastern Europe.
The Keeper. In the vein of "The Professional" and "Man on Fire" Steven Seagal plays an LA cop who after nearly being killed by his greedy partner, flees to Bucharest to work as a bodyguard for the daughter of a wealthy Romanian. When mobsters kidnap her, he hunts them down to rescue her and protect her.
I've mentioned this film a few times (click on the label for it below) now and finally here is the trailer.
Katana master Tao (Steven Seagal) leads a special ops squad of ex-military vigilantes on a massacre mission, their target: vampires. On the post-apocalyptic globe, sucked dry by bloodthirsty vampires, a few remaining survivors are trapped in an infected hospital. Tao is their only hope and he knows the only cure is execution. Now it's time for the last stand against the flesh-eating vampires and there's nothing left to lose but the last of humanity.
It's out in February next year on DVD. Will you be ordering a copy?
I mentioned this film a while ago and now we have some cover art for the DVD.
"Katana master Tao (Steven Seagal) leads a special ops squad of ex-military vigilantes on a massacre mission, their target: vampires.
On the post-apocalyptic globe, sucked dry by bloodthirsty vampires, a few remaining survivors are trapped in an infected hospital. Tao is their only hope and he knows the only cure is execution. Now it’s time for the last stand against the flesh-eating vampires and there’s nothing left to lose but the last of humanity.”
ShockTillYouDrop has news on Steven Seagal's next movie, Against the Dark. Here is the plot and it is the ultimate plot of all time, ever!!!
"Katana master Tao (Steven Seagal) leads a special ops squad of ex-military vigilantes on a massacre mission, their target: vampires.

How cool does that sound? Read that last line again, "there's nothing left to lose but the last of humanity" that's some serious stuff going on there, but Tao knows the only cure is execution...which means there isn't going to be many people left by the end of it. Not really a cure there Steven. Oh well, it's got the Steven "I'm just the cook" Seagal stamp of Kick-assness. Plus it has flesh-eating vampires. These guys don't just suck blood, they eat the flesh.
One other thing. What on earth are "ex-military vigilantes"?
Richard Crudo (Crudo - now that could be an incredibly ironic name, don't you think) directs this, destined to be watched late at night after downing much booze, film (Live For Films is not encouraging drinking kids, just stating a fact). I'll be watching it, can you afford not to?
Steven Seagal is the one on the left in the photo.
Mark this one as a definite rumour. The pudgy one with the dodgy hair and perma-squint has been talking to MTV about how he would like to do another Under Siege movie.
"There are offers and we’re looking at them,” Seagal said. Apparently, he has some ideas about where the film should go as well.
"I personally want it to be something more modern,” said Seagal. "In other words, I wouldn’t mind if it was about something more mystical or…maybe extraterrestrial in nature. Some real government top secrets instead of just the typical.”
What do you reckon? Is the World ready for another Under Siege movie? The first one was pretty good (Gary Busey and Tommy Lee Jones certainly helped as did Erika Eleniak's grand entrance).
A couple of years ago Steven Seagal and his band played at the Liverpool Philharmonic. I didn't go and that has nothing to do with this article.
Kill Switch is the mighty Seagal's latest effort (he wrote it as well as starring in it) and (un)surprisingly it is going direct to DVD. Probably due to his undercover work that he can't talk about in interviews. I mention this as it was one of Isaac Hayes' last screen appearances and also features The Count's hair from the Muppets on Steven's head!
The film follows homicide detective Jacob King, who, following the murder of his twin brother, takes the law into his own hands and attempts to track down two ruthless serial killers.
Kill Switch hits the DVD stores on 7th October but in the meantime here are some more photos.
I bet you cannot wait! If you see it let me know what you think of it.
