TIM AND ERIC AWESOME SHOW, GREAT JOB! THE COMPLETE SEASON ONE: 10 EPISODES
ON DVD 27 APRIL
“THE FUTURE OF COMEDY” The Guardian Guide
Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim write & star in this surreal comedy which mixes songs, spoof ads & sketches based around characters from a home grown cable TV show (think Wayne's World meets Flight of the Conchords!).
The show opens with the hosts dancing on their own tongues and gets even crazier after that! Using a combination of real-life acting and green-screen technology the comic duo conjure up an incredulous array of characters including the Anchorman-esque ‘Channel 5 Married News Team’, a dad-obsessed dance instructor, tone-deaf singers whose faces drip with eczema and would-be swingers who gorge on shrimp and wine!
The series is peppered with A-list celeb cameos and guest stars including Oscar-nominated John C. Reilly (Step Brothers, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story), Michael Cera (Superbad, Juno), and comic "Weird Al" Yankovic.
