Just a quick snippett on this one as there is not much to tell. Simon Pegg has revealed what the plot is and it sounds kind of cool but could end up being dreadful if not done right.
"Story revolves around two British slackers who after visiting Comic-Con go on a road trip to Area 51 where they encounter a small alien named Paul, who enlists them to help him find his way home."
Variety had the news but that's about all they have to say on the matter. The only other point (which has been mentioned in previous posts) is that Edgar Wright won't be directing Pegg and Frost instead Greg Mottola of Superbad fame will direct Paul. We shall have to wait and see if he will be able to capture the magic that the trinity had in Spaced, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz.
