A very cool trailer for the film. Watch it before it gets gone.
In the horror comedy Zombieland focuses on two men who have found a way to survive a world overrun by zombies. Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) is a big wuss -- but when you're afraid of being eaten by zombies, fear can keep you alive. Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) is an AK-totin', zombie-slayin' badass whose single determination is to get the last Twinkie on earth. As they join forces with Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin), who have also found unique ways to survive the zombie mayhem, they will have to determine which is worse: relying on each other or succumbing to the zombies.

Zombieland - Poster
Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) has made a habit of running from what scares him. Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) doesn't have fears. If he did, he'd kick their ever-living ass. In a world overrun by zombies, these two are perfectly evolved survivors. But now, they're about to stare down the most terrifying prospect of all: each other.HOME

Zombieland - First photos of Woody Harrelson
These are the first photos (courtesy of AICN) of the zombie comedy, Zombieland, by Ruben Fleischer. It's looking very good. Can't wait to see the trailer, which is meant to be showing with Year One.
Jesse Eisenberg plays Columbus, a teenage who has made a habit of running from what scares him. Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) doesn’t have fears. If he did, he’d kick their ever-living ass. In a world overrun by zombies, these two are perfectly evolved survivors. But now, they’re about to stare down the most terrifying prospect of all: each other. The film also stars Emma Stone (Superbad) and Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine).
The film is out on 9th October, 2009.

Bill Murray is a zombie in Zombieland
Shocktilyoudrop have it from a reliable source that the always excellent Bill Murray has donned full zombie makeup for a cameo in Ruben Fleischer's Zombieland. He's joins Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin and Amber Heard in this horror comedy where a band of survivors team to fight the living dead in the post-apocalyptic Southwest after a zombie plague ravages America.
This is the film that made Woody Harrelson punch a cameraman in the face because he thought he was a zombie! (see below)
Now the involvement of Bill Murray (although only in a cameo) suggests to me that it has a little bit more about it than other such zombie films.

Fred Durst talks about directing The Education of Charlie Banks
Charlie Bank's (Jesse Eisenberg) sheltered world at his Ivy League campus is shaken when Mick (Jason Ritter), an old acquaintance with a violent past, unexpectedly shows up at his dorm room. Intrigued by Charlie's privileged lifestyle, the charismatic Mick quickly wins over Charlie's friends and his crush, Mary (Eva Amurri) as he seamlessly integrates himself into Charlie's life. Unnerved yet also in awe of Mick's easy charm, Charlie's unresolved feelings of jealousy, admiration and fear, as well as an unspoken secret between the two, threatens to come to a head with ruinous consequences. The Education of Charlie Banks marks musician Fred Durst's directorial debut. Movieweb recently caught up with the singer, as well as his leading man Jason Ritter.

Psycho Killer - My favourite Talking Heads song and now a slasher film by Fred Durst
STYD have the news that Fred Durst (frontman of Limp Bizkit) is going to have a go at making a horror film. He'll sit in the director's chair for a film entitled Psycho Killer written by Andrew Kevin Walker."It's not a throwaway slasher genre film," he says. "It's a very smart, really compelling story about a serial killer on a mission for Satan. It's really interesting and the way it's written - it's so unique. Andy is an incredible writer. It looks like we're going to go into pre-production around August."
Durst is currently out promoting the release of The Education of Charlie Banks, a drama starring Jesse Eisenberg, Jason Ritter and Chris Marquette. It opens in limited release via Anchor Bay Entertainment this Friday. Andrew Kevin Walker penned Se7e, Sleepy Hollow and this November's The Wolfman.

Zombieland - Buddy zombie comedy starring Woody Harrelson
This from First Showing.Taking its cue from Shaun of the Dead, another buddy zombie comedy is in the works, titled Zombieland. This one will star Woody Harrelson and little known actor Jesse Eisenberg (who just finished Adventureland for Greg Mottola) as a pair of mismatched survivors who find friendship and redemption in a world overrun by zombies. Eisenberg is in negotiations to play Flagstaff, a terrified shut-in whose cowardice makes him an expert at surviving the zombies but who is forced out of his shell to join the band of survivors. First-time feature filmmaker Ruben Fleischer is directing a script written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (creators of "The Joe Schmo Show") for Columbia Pictures to distribute.
Sounds pretty good and Woody Harrelson is a good bloke to have in a movie. The title, to me, suggests that it could be set in a theme park. Anyone else got any info on this?
