It seem obvious we are seeing a new time stream to begin yet another new continuity of Star Trek from the “beginning”, I think we in the fandom community have known that Paramount and creative parties have wanted Kirk and Spock’s adventures in Starfleet Academy for a long time and it looks like JJ Abrams has been able to accomplish that and give us all a transfusion of new blood. The question remains will it satisfy?

I can say in typical wide-eyed Trek fanboy fashion with each trailer I’ve seen I am looking forward to it and Nimoy too!

Of course we won’t really know the truth until May 8th!
