This is not produced by the Platinum Dunes' People.
It is a concept piece created by Christopher Johnson IV (and crew) for his agent Robert Depp at the Beverly Hecht Agency to demonstrate his passion and take for a 21st Century Freddy Krueger.
Depp is working to land an audition for Johnson with the Platinum Dunes camp and their casting people for the roll of Freddy.
Not too shabby. What are your thoughts on this?

i loved this! it reminded me of how good Freddy is/was. but instead of remaking a fine film, why not a 'birth of' type of film? afterall we know very little of Freddy apart from him being a bit of a wierdo that was burnt alive by the local parents. i think id personally see that movie then a remake of one of my faves.
but on an aside, the site is lookin boss mate, good work.

I'd personally like to see more of how he got his abilities and stuff like that
