More Than a Game - Trailer

I love the poster design for this basketball documentary.

Follows a high-school basketball team in Akron, Ohio. Its core group of players are four African-American youth from varying backgrounds, playing for the elite, predominantly white school St. Vincent-St. Mary. The boys had played together with the same coach since they were in grade school, developing an unusual chemistry. In the end, one of the players goes on to become an NBA superstar. While still in high school, LeBron James was anointed by Sports Illustrated as "The Chosen One," and scrutiny of the St. Vincent-St. Mary team increased exponentially. Here, we not only see what happened on the court but also what took place between friends in the locker room and outside the game.

Written and directed by Kristopher Belman, More Than A Game is out in October, 2009.
