Some more casting news for the Dylan Dog live-action film Dead of Night has been rolled out. It was already known that Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) is Dylan and Sam Huntington is playing his sidekick.
ShockTillYouDrop.com learned actor Taye Diggs is now set to star opposite Routh. The actor, currently seen in Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice, will play Night's leader of the vampires. This is Diggs' return to the genre after 1999's The House on Haunted Hill. Since then he has also starred in Equilibrium, with Christian Bale, and Chicago.
Make-up FX for Diggs as well as Huntington who is a member of the undead himself are being handled by Drac Studios. The film is said to have a whole host of supernatural creatures, from vampires to zombies to werewolves.
