Here are a couple of photos from James Cameron's Avatar (not sure if they've been seen before). As you can see they involve the motion capture aspect of the live action / CGI film. Above is part of a sign for the film and below you can see someone standing in the middle with their arms out who, I assume is getting ready to act out something. The poles may well be to map out the virtual set.
The interesting thing is the metal bar with the words "ZULUS RULE". Is it just a piece of scaffolding for the crew hang equipment on or is it part of the spacecraft from the film?
