I posted some photos and a trailer from youtube ages ago. Now we have an official release of a trailer for the Gerald McMorrow directed film starring Ryan Phillippe, Eva Green, Sam Riley and Bernard Hill.
Franklyn is set between the parallel worlds of contemporary London and the futuristic metropolis of Meanwhile City, and weaves a tale of four souls, whose lives are intertwined by fate, romance and tragedy. As these worlds collide, a single bullet determines the destiny of these four characters.
Preest, a masked vigilante detective, searching for his nemesis on the streets of Meanwhile City, a monolithic fantasy metropolis ruthlessly governed by faith and religious fervor. Esser (Bernard Hill) is a broken man, searching for his wayward son amongst the rough streets of London's homeless. Milo (Sam Riley) is a heartbroken thirty-something desperately trying to find a way back to the purity of first love. Emilia (Green) is a beautiful art student; her suicidal art projects are becoming increasingly more complex and deadly.

Is that the welsh bloke from Coupling in there? The giggle loop! Class
Hmmm! Looks like another pretender to the throne of masked-dom. Saw of that Question fellow a while back but this appears to be another.
However, have the feeling he will turn out to be a story, dream or imaginary aspect for one of the real world characters. Probably the girl and how she would want her father to save her.
Note to self. Buy more beans and break more thumbs
"You can't handle the giggle loop!" It is indeed Jeff from Coupling
Thanks for confirming that Jinja. He was the best thing in that funny sitcom.
Continue the superb content, inserted to my personal chrome rss.
