2012 - Trailer for Roland Emmerich's latest

Here is the first teaser for Roland Emmerich's latest epic. As usual for his movies the trailer is ace and when you see what is coming over the mountains you will go, "Bloody Hell" or an expletive of your choice.

2012 revolves a family who goes on vacation in December 2012, just as the Mayan calendar is coming to a close. Over the decades, many have prophesied that the world will end when the ancient calendar ceases on Dec. 21, 2012.

Check out this trailer to see what happens when the ancient Mayan calendar reaches its final days.

What did you say when you realised what was happening to the mountains?

I think that if the film is half as good as the trailer, then we've got ourselves a summer blockbuster. Personally, I'm just waiting to see Danny Glover (from Predator 2 fame) as the President (live imitating art, imitating life anyone?)

This sounds like that scifi novel Escape 2 Earth. He should turn that into a movie.
