Alternate Opening of The Incredible Hulk

This is the scene where you are meant to be able to see Captain America in the ice.

Watched the Incredible Hulk for the first time last night (got the 2 disc special edition) and thought it was really good. They really got the Hulk from the comics and animators did a cracking job on conveying emotion on the Hulk's face. When it was on the flicks I think lots of reviews said the effects looked like the usual CGI fest but on the small screen I felt the Hulk and the Abomination had a very real feel to them and did seem to exist in the world. I also enjoyed the little nods to Captain America (through the super soldier serum) and the crossover with Tony Stark and all the Stark Tech the army used. The opening scenes in the Mexican shanty town where amazing. Such a vivid looking place. The filmmakers must have loved it when the location scouts showed them the pics. Liv Tyler was a bit pants thought.

As to seeing Captain America on the alternate opening I have no idea how people spotted it as it involved Banner going off into the icy wastes. He then pulls a gun and is going to kill himself but the stress builds and he Hulks out. It then cuts to the ice sheet collapsing and just for a split second you can make out Cap's shield (only because I knew where to look). The pause on my DVD player isn't precise enough to stop it there though.

The ending certainly was ambigous with Banner smiling as his eyes turn green and could lead into the Hulk fighting the Avengers. All in all I enjoyed it. What do you think of the alternate opening?
