Valhalla Rising -Trailer for Nicolas Refn's Viking epic

Nicolas Refn is the director of Bronson and Pusher. This new one of his looks nice and vikingy! It stars Casino Royale's Mads Mikkelsen (what is it with him and characters with dodgy eyes?)

For years, One-Eye, a mute warrior of supernatural strength, has been held prisoner by the chieftain Barde. Aided by a boy, Are, he kills his captor and together they escape, beginning a journey into the heart of darkness. On their flight from bounty hunters, One-Eye and Are board a Viking vessel, but the ship is soon engulfed by an endless fog that first disintegrates as they sight an unknown land. As the new land reveals its secrets and the Vikings meet a ghastly fate, One-Eye discovers his true self.

Holy Zeus' beard! Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes join Clash of the Titans

Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes will play warring gods in Warner Bros. and Legendary's "Clash of the Titans," the Greek-god epic directed by Louis Leterrier.

Neeson is playing Zeus, the wise yet sometimes ill-tempered king of the gods and father of Perseus (Sam Worthington).

Fiennes will play Hades, ruler of the underworld who aims to overtake Zeus and rule over all. Fiennes' deal is in still in negotiations.

The two actors join Mads Mikkelsen, Gemma Arterton and Alexa Davalos in the production, which begins shooting later this month in the U.K.

Legendary is co-producing and co-financing the pic. Thunder Road's Basil Iwanyk is producing with Kevin de la Noy. Jon Jashni and Thomas Tull are executive producing.

The deal marks Neeson's first since the tragic death of his wife, Natasha Richardson. The deal was initiated before her death. His film "Taken," released earlier this year, has proven to be a surprise hit, earning almost $140 million domestically.

Fiennes last starred in "The Reader."

Neeson as Zeus is a brilliant idea. Fiennes just has to bring his Voldermort attire and he's sorted.

Mads Mikkelsen and Alexa Davalos hear the Clash of The Titans

I posted the news about Gemma Arteton joining the cast a few days ago but now some more casting news has surfaced.
Mads Mikkelsen, Gemma Arterton and Alexa Davalos are boarding "Clash of the Titans," the Greek-god epic being directed by Louis Leterrier.

Sam Worthington is toplining as Perseus, who is put on a quest to save a princess and defeat Hades, the god of hell. Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay wrote the script.

Mikkelsen is playing Draco, a skilled fighter and leader of the Praetorian Guard that accompanies Perseus.

Davalos is Andromeda, the captured princess, and Arterton is Io, who is instrumental in bringing the winged horse Pegasus to Perseus.

Legendary is co-producing and co-financing the pic, which is set to begin lensing in the U.K. at the end of April. Thunder Road's Basil Iwanyk is producing with Kevin de la Noy. Jon Jashni and Thomas Tull are executive producing.

Lynn Harris and Matt Milam are overseeing for Warners.

Mikkelsen, one of Denmark's most recognizable faces, is best known to American audiences for his role of the villain in "Casino Royale." Repped by UTA and Danish agent Ulrich Moller-Jorgensen, the actor stars in Eurowide Film's "Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky."

Arterton, who appeared in the James Bond film "Quantum of Solace," next appears in Richard Curtis' "The Boat That Rocked" and opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in Disney's "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time." She is repped by UK's Independent Talent Group.

ICM-repped Davalos was most recently seen in "Defiance." Other credits include "The Mist," "Feast of Love" and "The Chronicles of Riddick."

Flammen & Citronen - World War II Danish Assassins

The trailer for Flame & Citron or Flammen & Citronen which translates into "The Flame and the Lemon" in English. A gripping World War II drama based on true events.

Flame (Thure Lindhardt) and Citron (Mads Mikkelsen) are the code names for two Danish assassins hired by the Holger Danske resistance group to go after Danish informers and occupying Germans in 1944 Copenhagen. While Flame dreams of launching a counterattack on the Nazi forces, sensitive family man Citron is more concerned with the political workings of the group. When boss Aksel Winther (Peter Mygind) orders Flame to execute his girlfriend, a beautiful courier called Ketty (Stine Stengade), he finds himself questioning the order. Something doesn't feel right and all of a sudden the lines between fact and fiction become blurred. Nobody is sure who to trust or who is really working for whom. Realising they've only got each other to rely on, Flame and Citron now focus their efforts on locating Hoffmann (Christian Berkel), the much-hated chief of the Gestapo.
