Dollhouse Season 1 - Epitaph One Sneak Peek

Dollhouse is the Joss Whedon series where people have memories and skills downloaded into them and at the end of each mission they have their memory wiped. The Feds are after them and Eliza Dushku looks lovely. All well and good. Unlike Firefly, Dollhouse has been given a second series.

However, there was a final episode from the first series that is yet to be shown. It is called Epitaph One and is set in 2019 after some kind of apocalypse. Who knew! It stars Felicia Day and here is a sneak peek.

UPDATED: Dan Aykroyd talks Ghostbusters 3

The Los Angeles Times recently caught up with Dan Aykroyd who confirmed that Ghostbusters 3 is in development at Columbia Pictures and may start filming in the winter:

Aykroyd said Sigourney Weaver is on board now, as are the original squad ofectoplasmic specialists -- Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson. Murray's presence was the pivot point in making a third film happen.

"We could be in production by winter."

The script is by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, the writing team behind the upcoming Jack Black/Michael Cera movie Year One (directed by Ramis), and Aykroyd is enthused about its premise of a new generation of Ghostbusters taking over the duties of the aging team.

Aykroyd said he wishes Ivan Reitman would return to direct the third film in the
series but that he's "too busy as a mega-producer" to take it on; his second
choice is Ramis, who, of course, co-wrote the first two Ghostbusters films with
Aykroyd and has numerous directing credits, most notably Groundhog Day and
Analyze This. "He has a lot of things going on, but it would be wonderful to see
him do it."

The details of story are still in play, but Aykroyd said he's hoping for a five-member "new generation" team with several female members. "I'd like it to be a passing-of-the-torch movie. Let's revisit the old characters briefly and happily and have them there as family but let's pass it on to a new generation."

He then mentions Alyssa Milano (who provided a voice for the upcoming video game) and Eliza Dushku as potential options. Nothing concrete about those two, but I could see Dusku as a Ghostbuster.

UPDATE: The two actresses Dan mentions quickly got onto this and had this mini-conversation on Twitter.

Alyssa Milano: Can't speak for @ElizaPatricia (Hi, pretty lady)but this is the first I'm hearing of Ghostbusters 3. Did the VO in the game tho.

Eliza Dushku: Ghost-rumor-buster in a big way @Alyssa_milano (hey girlene) it's nuthin' I know of.

I could see Eliza Dushku as the Black Cat. As they are fan made all actors and characters mentioned are pure speculation.

Bottle Shock - New Quad Poster for Alan Rickman and Chris Pine's latest film

I posted the trailer for this last July. Now the new Quad poster has just come out. It stars Alan Rickman and the soon to be Captain Kirk, Chris Pine.

There are certain unforgettable moments in history when America has triumphed against long odds and proved itself to the world: Neil Armstrong setting foot on the moon; the U.S. Men’s Hockey team beating the Soviet Union in the 1980 Olympics.

But one such moment has never received the recognition it deserves: In 1976, a small American winery sent shock waves through the wine industry by besting the exalted French wines in a blind tasting, putting California wines on the map for good.

Novice vintner Jim Barrett risked everything to realize his dream of creating the perfect hand-crafted California Chardonnay. Meanwhile in Paris, struggling wine seller Steven Spurrier came up with an idea for a publicity stunt to help his floundering shop. Little did Spurrier and Barrett realize they were about to change the history of wine forever.

Directed by Randall Miller it also stars Bill Pullman and Eliza Dushku.

Iron Man 2 - Black Widow. Who's best Dushku or Johanssen?

There's finally a bit of an update regarding Iron Man 2, in particular the role of Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow (Russian secret agent super spy). EW have the news.

Because Emily Blunt's commitment to Twentieth Century Fox and the studio's upcoming Gulliver's Travels movie may prohibit her from costarring in Iron Man 2, Marvel is in discussions with other actresses, most significantly Scarlett Johansson, to take her place, EW has learned exclusively. Marvel will not confirm, but sources around Hollywood say Johansson has indeed met with the filmmakers and is interested in taking the role of Russian superspy Natasha Romanoff, who doubles as Black Widow. Blunt's reps are still trying to make both projects work, but Gulliver's is further along, with a start date of April 15. Iron Man 2 still doesn't have a shooting script and a start date has not yet been determined.

Eliza Dushku (Dollhouse, Buffy) had also appeared on the Howard Stern show recently and mentioned how much she would like the part.

“They’re doing Iron Man 2, and I’m so perfect for the Black Widow character, that they just need to get into it. They need to understand… I just learned Russian because I had to play a Russian girl in Dollhouse.”

Out of all of the people mentioned I do hope Blunt gets the scheduling sorted as I feel she would be best suited. Johanssen is just totally wrong for the part in my opinion and sounds like Marvel are jus going for a big name without thinking of the character involved. If Blunt can't do it I'd much rather see Dushku play Natasha as she has got the physical skills for the part.

If Blunt can't do it who do you want to see play Natasha? Dushku, Johanssen or someone else?

All joking aside I do have a soft spot for all of the actors involved in this one. Cary Elwes was great in The Princess Bride and Michael Ironside can chew up any scene he is in. He blew up a man's head using just the power of his mind in Scanners. You don't mess with Ironside!
