Public Enemies - 3 new character posters

Character posters for Michael Mann's new film. The Johnny Depp one above doesn't look quite like Depp for some reason. In fact all three posters seem a little off. Still looking forward to seeing the film though.

you're right. all 3 posters have been muddied up. the depp poster is a slighlty different posing of the first publicity photo's that appeared in the jan 09 empire mag. the bale poster is another publicity photo that, i believe, was released with a later group that included depp sitting on a bed with a wounded arm. the cotillard poster is just bad. her face looks so air-brushed it doesn't even look like her. why do that to such a beautiful woman?
my brain just imploded. how can i remember this stuff and forget to clean my house?
