Astropia vs Heroes

Filmmakers in Iceland made a film called Astropia. It premiered in Iceland in 2007 and was shown at last year's Fantastic Fest. It is all about a young woman who, having never worked, has to get a job in her local comic book / role playing shop

Now a recent episode in season 3 of Heroes has a story line where Claire (Hayden Panettier) has to get a job in a comic shop.

Do you notice any similarities?

The producers of Astropia are not very happy and are, according to Twitch, thinking of suing NBC for plagarism, as they are trying to get the film remade in the US. Either way it is all publicity for the film.

What is your verdict? Coincidence? Plagarism? Homage?
