Special - Trailer

I saw this last year and really enjoyed it. I hadn't realised that it was yet to come out in the States. It's well worth checking out if you get the chance.

It's all about a lonely man called Les (Michael Rapaport) who, while taking untested medication, develops superpowers and goes out to make a difference in a the World. The thing is he's had a psychotic reaction to the tablets and is still just an ordinary man. It is sad, funny and touching.
Written and directed by Hal Haberman and Jeremy Passmore (who’s co-writing John Carpenter’s The Prince) Special opens on November 21 in the USA. I think you can now get it on DVD over here in Britain.
