Eckhart as Hal Jordan?

David Bentley at The Coventry Telegraph has news that Aaron Eckhart, fresh from The Dark Knight, may have his eyes on the lighter side of justice and that light is Green...and from a Lanter....yes Green Lantern (Ow that was a painful sentence wasn't it!) Apparantly, fans have had Eckhart earmarked as a potential Captain America and thinking about it he'd be pretty good as Cap (may be my next poll), and the fact he has already played Harvey "Two Face" Dent in a DC movie may have ruined his chances to play Hal Jordan. Still early days. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for linking to my blog Phil. It was interesting news, wasn't it? I didn't mention the Two-Face part in the blog as I didn't to spoil the character's arc for any mainstream readers who aren't clued up on what Harvey Dent becomes--- but it would seem difficult for Eckhart to play a villain and then a hero, in the same universe. He's got the right kind of look for Green Lantern though.

Cheers David. He's definitely got the look for a veteran Hal Jordan. I still think he'd be a cracking Captain America and hadn't even thought of him until I read the bit on your article. Definitely going to have a poll about who can play Steve Rogers. I'm curious thought about Green Lantern.
