UPDATED: Knowing - Nicholas Cage and the evil of Numbers

Here's the trailer for Nicholas Cage's new movie, Knowing.
A teacher (Cage) opens a time capsule that has been dug up at his son's
elementary school; in it are some chilling predictions -- some that have
already occurred and others that are about to -- that lead him to
believe his family plays a role in the events that are about to unfold.
I'm still working on my theory that the length of Cage's hair correlates with how bad the movie is going to be, but still a few kinks in it. For this movie he has short hair again which could be good or bad. Still the trailer is pretty good and there is a bit at the 30 second mark which made me go "What the...." It's directed by Alex Proyas who did The Crow, Dark City and I, Robot. Interestingly IMDB shows him as being the director for the Silver Surfer movie and writer for a movie version of John Christopher's The Tripods (I remember the really slow TV series as a kid). Knowing is out in March, 2009.

UPDATE 13/12/08 - A new trailer for Knowing has been released. Watch it here.
