The Hunt for Gollum is now online

I've posted the trailers for this fan-film a while back but now the full 38-minute film has premiered online and is available for free. Click HERE to see it at the site as it is currently not embeddable.

The story was adapted from elements of the appendices of The Lord of the Rings. The story follows the Heir of Isildur; the “greatest huntsman and traveler in Middle Earth” as he sets out to find the creature Gollum. The creature must be found to discover the truth about the Ring, and to protect the future Ringbearer.

It was directed by Chris Bouchard for $3000.

Avatar - Fan made trailer

In a distant future, humanity discovers the planet 'Alpha Centauri B-4', and for those scientists and astronauts who've traversed the gulf between neighboring suns and arrived on its alien soil know it as 'Pandora'. A world filled with an incredible diversity of beautiful and deadly ammonia-breathing lifeforms. Its also a world that harbors treasures and resources almost beyond price. But just as the original Pandora's Box wrought devastation on those who would use it for their own gain, so too this world may destroy not just the Pandorans home, but ours as well.

Avatar is the story of a wounded ex-marine, thrust unwillingly into an effort to settle and exploit an exotic planet rich in bio-diversity, who eventually crosses over to lead the indigenous race in a battle for survival.

The Greatest Fan Film of All Time?

Millions of superheroes gather in Metropolis to celebrate Stan Lee’s birthday, bad guys show up, chaos ensues, and good triumphs over evil.

The movie was animated and directed by Jacob Drake, and written and edited by Larry Longstreth; in total, they spent 18 months making the film, logging more than 1,300 hours of animating in the process. Voice work was recorded across six states and Canada, with assists from both fan film veterans like Aaron Schoenke and Paul Molnar (Patient J) who supplied the voices of Scarecrow and Joker respectively, and Raine Maida.

Ghostbusters 3 - Fan Made Trailer (Ghostbusters Go to Hell)

whoiseyevan is the one who put in all the hard work to make this. Here is what he has to say about it.

The "trailer" is based on Dan Aykroyd's long-rumored Ghosbusters 3 premise... In fact, that's his voice narrating his idea throughout the 'Hell vignette' part.

It took me forever to piece this thing together. Here's the recipe for the trailer:

Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters 2, Predator, Independence Day, Casper, Nightwatch, Gremlins 2, Lost in Translation, End of Days, Haunted Mansion, Hellboy, Earth vs the Spider, Orange County, Blues Brothers 2000, Miss Congeniality 2, Christmas with the Kranks, Miss Congeniality, Sleepy Hollow, X-Men, The Blob, Spider-man 3, High Spirits, Frighteners, Constantine, Mars Attacks, Charlie's Angels, Be Kind Rewind,
Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves, Dan in Real Life
