Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian - Darth Vader?

The first TV spot introduces more of the film's characters including its "villains". Now with added Dark Lord of the Sith and Oscar the Grouch.

Ben Stiller and Darth Vader. Not sure where this one is going. My son enjoyed the first Night at the Museam and he is a big Star Wars fan so he's going to love this.

As for me. I like a bit of Star Wars. Stiller is great in some things and not so great in others. This sequel will probably be much like the first.

Directed by Shawn Levy

Starring Ben Stiller, Amy Adams, Hank Azaria, Robin Williams, Owen Wilson, Steve Coogan.

Due out on 22nd May, 2009

Armando Iannucci's In the Loop -Trailer featuring many characters from The Thick of It

Britain and America; friends and allies as far back as anyone can remember. Both the US President and UK Prime Minister fancy a war but not everyone agrees including US Assistant Secretary for Diplomacy, US Army General (James Gandolfini) and a floundering British Minister Simon Foster (Tom Hollander). When Foster accidentally announces on national TV that ‘war is unforeseeable,’ the British government is sent into a spiral of chaos and spin propagated by verbosely aggressive Director of Communications, Malcom Tucker (Peter Capaldi). Foster attempts to neutralise his ‘unforeseeable’ comment by telling the British public to prepare to ‘climb the mountain of conflict’ but soon finds himself bundled off to Washington on a fact-finder where he becomes both a pawn for the secret war committee and a poster-boy for the General and the Assistant Secretary for Diplomacy’s anti-war campaign.

Also starring Steve Coogan and Gina McKee

The Mighty Boosh film - Who could Robert Smith play?

I posted recently about the boys from The Mighty Boosh appearing in a film called The Bunny and The Bull. However, what I'd like to see is a fully Booshed up film.

The Mighty Boosh is an excellent piece of surreal, bizarre, but most of all laugh out loud funny television. It was created by and stars Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding and is directed by Paul King.

It has long been mooted that it will eventually reach the big screen and a little rumour from the boys shows that this may be moving forward.

Speaking at the NME awards - where The Mighty Boosh won Best TV Show - Noel Fielding talked about his dream casting for the movie spin-off. Noel Fielding is after Robert Smith, front man of The Cure, to play his uncle. Thinking about it that is pretty much spot on casting.

Steve Coogan is a producer of the TV Show so no doubt he will join Fielding and Noel Barratt in the film.

Click here to watch Noel chatting about it.

Of course there is no actual date, script or much else in place for this as far as I am aware, but it does sound promising doesn't it (if any hardcore Boosh fans know any more then let me know).

Who else would you like to see in The Mighty Boosh film?

Rain of Madness - Poster

Another cracking piece of marketing for the Tropic Thunder movie. If this keeps going they'll end up doing the mockumentary for real.
