The Ugly Truth - New trailer for Butler / Heigl slasher film...okay it's a romantic comedy

Here is another trailer for the astonishingly original romantic comedy starring Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl. Will they? Won't they? You'd have to have never seen a movie or breathed air to not know the outcome of this one. Still, I do like both actors in this so I'll probably end up seeing it.

A romantically challenged morning show producer is reluctantly embroiled in a series of outrageous tests by her chauvinistic correspondent to prove his theories on relationships and help her find love.

The Ugly Truth - Katherine Heigl & Gerard Butler in incredibly original romantic comedy.

A romantically challenged morning show producer (Katherine Heigl) is reluctantly embroiled in a series of outrageous tests by her chauvinistic correspondent (Gerard Butler) to prove his theories on relationships and help her find love. His clever ploys, however, lead to an unexpected result.

The Ugly Truth - That just all sounds so incredibly original. I am at a total loss as to what the unexpected result could be. Glad to see the two leads have gone for something totally different from their previous films such as 27 Dresses, Knocked Up, P.S. I Love You, and 300. Hold on a minute...you don't think they'll end up getting on each others nerves, earning each others respect, Katherine going off with another schmuck after a misunderstanding over something he has done, then walking in the rain and realising they both have feelings for each other, then Gerard will interrupt a party, wedding, important meeting or (as they both work in TV) change a news story he is about to report on to say how much he loves her, before they both get together and random strangers stand around smiling and clapping? Apologies for the dreadful amount of commas in that last sentence. I'm probably totally wrong. Here's the trailer.
