Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus - Trailer

Because no one demanded it, Live for Films is almost pleased to present, the trailer for Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus

Starring Lorenzo Lamas and 80’s icon Deborah Gibson, “MSVGO” features two of the ocean’s most dangerous creatures around — mega sharks and giant octopuses — going at it for ball’s out control of the sea.

10,000,000 Years ago they were frozen in combat.

With an acronym like MSVGO you know this is from the tribe of Awesome. It fits with other classic acronyms such as TMWRNJ, PNFOS, AOTKT and CRAP!

Click on the Mega Shark tag below to see some images and the poster from the film...if you dare.

You want to see Mega Shark? You got it

This is it. Our first look at Mega Shark. I hope Magneto managed to get off the bridge in time.

Who's that I hear you cry. Why it is only one half of the monster tag team from the most exciting film of this and any other millenium, Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus. The Asylum Film that the entire World is talking about.

Well I am sure they would be talking about it if it wasn't for Star Trek, Wolverine, Terminator Salvation and Uwe Boll's Far Cry.

I did actually mention the film a while back when I discovered that Debbie Gibson was starring in it which goes some way to show the quality of cinematic excellence you can expect when you watch it on DVD.

Will you be watching a the two sea giants duke it out? Are you a fan of Asylum Films? Do you wish you had never laid eyes on this post and are even now searching for a rusty spoon to scrape out your eyes due to the immense awesomeness of the concept?

Thanks to Undead Backbrain for posting this picture. They also have one of the Giant Octopus, but I don't think you are quite ready to see that.

Holy Electric Youth! Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus vs Debbie Gibson.

Yes this is a real film called Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus and it does feature 80s pop star Deborah Gibson as Emma MacNeil. It also stars Lorenzo Lamas (Dark Waters, 30000 Leagues Under the Sea). Oh and it is in 3D.

The California coast is terrorized by two enormous prehistoric sea creatures as they battle each other for supremacy of the sea.

It is directed by Jack Perez who brought us classics such as 666: The Child, Wild Things 2, and Monster Island. You may have already guessed but it is from The Asylum studios (The Terminators, Countdown: Jerusalem, Transmorphers 2, Death Racers, Sunday School Musical, The Day the Earth Stopped, 18 Year Old Virgin).

The 2010 Oscars just got interesting!
