Hot Tub Time Machine - Dude, it sounds Sweet and John Cusack's in it! Excellent

I recently mentioned a british time travel comedy called Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel. It stars a trio of UK comedy actors playing normal blokes who are chilling out in their local pub when they stumble across a time rift and have all sorts of adventures and paradox type things happen with hilarious consequences. Make sure you check out the trailer as it looks splendid.

At the time of writing that I had totally forgotten about a screenplay that was mentioned last year. It was for a film called Hot Tub Time Machine and will star a trio of american actors playing normal blokes who are chilling out in their hot tub when they stumble upon the fact it can travel through time. I assume there will be hilarious consequences and no doubt shenanigans, malarkey and general joshing.

I don't know. You wait ages for a time travelling comedy to come along and then along come to. What are the chances.

First Showing have now mentioned that Hot Tub Time Machine is due to start filming in April and will feature a cast comprising of John Cusack, Rob Corddry, and Craig Robinson. It will be produced by MGM and directed by Steve Pink who made Accepted which was a chucklesome film starring Justin Long and the fat one from Superbad.
