Ryan Gosling could be Green Lantern

Latino Review have some news that Warner Brothers is looking at Ryan Gosling for the main role as Hal Jordan. This hasn't been officially confirmed, but is apparantly from a good source.

I know Ryan has won an Oscar and has had good reviews for all the films he has been in (Lars and the Real Girl, Notebook, Half Nelson etc). However, I personally just don't picture him as the Green Lantern. I know that's just a looks thing and he'll probably act it out of the park, but for the moment it just doesn't grab me. If anything I could see him more as Sinestro.

What do you think of the news? Good or bad news for Green Lantern?
