Not heard of Master of Space and Time until now but came across it while looking into the previous Jack Black story. I am always up for a new Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Science of Sleep) film. Even if the film is not that good story wise there is always some amazing visual trick to be seen that requires repeat viewing.It is based on the 1984 novel by Rudy Rucker and is being adapted by Daniel Clowes who wrote the comic books Ghost World and David Boring amongst others. Clowes has been attached to write a screenplay based on the true story of three boys who made a shot-for-shot remake of Raiders of the Lost Ark over the course of 7 years. The project is currently untitled.

Just checked Wikipedia and that states, "Master of Space and Time is a 1984 novel by Rudy Rucker that centers on an inventor, Harry Gerber, who discovers a way to create his own tailor-made universe.
The novel has also been adapted and is being produced for DreamWorks Pictures by writer Daniel Clowes. Director Michel Gondry, who directed Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The Science of Sleep announced that he is no longer set to direct the project."
As it is Wikipedia I'm not sure how true the Michel Gondry part is. Can anyone else shed any light on it?

This movie doesn't sound like a funny movie. It'd be strange if Jack Black and Dave Chappelle were actually in it. I do want to see Dave Chappelle do something soon.
