Lucky Luke - Poster

This was on Twivi, but I don't speak/read French so I can't really tell you much more. I do know it is directed by James Huth who directed a film called Hellphone and stars Jean Dufardin who was also in Hellphone. I've not seen Hellphone so no idea what that bodes for this film.
Lucky Luke was greated by the Belgium artist Morris in 1946 and Luke could apparantly draw a gun faster than his shadow. Never read any of the comics, but from what I've seen they look nice.

OK, my ropey French skills then:

Lucky Luke, the fastest cowboy in the West is to be brought to the screen.

But no, it's not Laurent Gerra in the role but nice and handsome Jean Dujardin (Brice De Nice, OSS117, Le Convoyeur [the Transporter]) who will play the hero of Goscinny and Morris. In the production, it's James Huth who pulls it together, after OSS 117 and Hellphone, he scrubbed the cartoon adaptaion and started with a blank page!

The film is expected in 2008. Meanwhile, here's the first poster..
