Ponyo on the Cliff is both written and directed by animator Hayao Miyazaki (Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle). The film was animated at the legendary Studio Ghibli. Disney is bringing Ponyo on the Cliff, now known as just Ponyo, to theaters on 14th August.
