Here is the first peek of Robert Downey Jr as Sherlock Holmes in Guy Ritchie's movie. Looks a bit scruffy to me so I imagine Holmes could be undercover as he was known to do. However, he does bring to mind a certain Charlie Chaplin pic that starred a certain Robert Downey Jr! Still he was great in that and he has been going great guns on all his recent acting roles. I have faith this will be good. Not sure how the Ritchie style will translate to the period feel of the piece.

I don't know about this. Still don't think Guy Ritchie is the right choice for the movie
ReplyDeleteSquirrel Girl I know what you mean. Think he works great with the modern day gangsters but something doesn't seem quite right about the Ritchie doing it. I have faith in Robert Downey Jr though.
