Robocop Reboot?

Darren Aronofsky (Pi, The Fountain, Requiem For a Dream) is down to direct the new Robocop movie. Initially it was though to be a remake which had many people up in arms. However, Bloody Disgusting have found this little log line which would suggest it's going to be a sequel. Interesting indeed.

Present day Los Angeles, 20 years after the termination of the RoboCop program,
the city decides to reinstate the program.
