Deadpool action figure from Wolverine film looks nothing like any Wade Wilson I know

Here is what is supposedly the action figure for Deadpool in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine film.

In the comics Deadpool is usually loaded up with guns and swords. He wears a mask because his whole head is horribly disfigured.
Judging by the toy, Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) is going to take his top off, tape knives to his hands like a knock off Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and get a few scratches on his chest. Not quite what this comic fan envisioned.

Film School Rejects are the ones who posted the image of the toy along with the below image from the trailer. Originally it was mentioned that this was Mutant Zero who fights Logan near the end of the film. However, he looks an awful lot like the Deadpool action figure.
Also on the toy packaging why has Wolverine got a weird shiny bouffant thing going on as if he's just had his hair freshly done? What do you think of this version of Deadpool? Is it how you wanted to see him on the big screen? I hope they don't mess up his cinema debut.
